Eggs In A Basket

Very simple and yet so so yummy. This is one of my daughters favorite things to eat the morning. I make it real quick and she gets a yummy breakfast before heading out to school. We both win.

You will need:

  1. Eggs
  2. Sandwich Bread
  3. Butter
  4. Non-stick griddle

Make sure you have something to cut a circle with. I used a plastic cup. By this time you should have your griddle on medium heat. put a bit of butter on it and place your bread.

Next, you will add one egg in each. Since these were going to be for my daughter I broke the yolk. But when i make them for me i keep the yolk whole. Just depends on your preference.

Dont forget about those little circles that we cup out. we will butter them and place them on the griddle as well. These come in very handy when you have a runny yolk.

Time to flip the bread.

Just make sure you cook these to your liking. For this picture you can see that i cooked them all the way through because that’s how my little one likes them.

  1. Hello. This recipe bought me back to my youth as a youngster, my grandmother used to make this. I have not made this for my daughter yet and she is 14 years old. She is a egg and toast junkie. Maybe this week end. Thank you so much for sharing the recipe.
