Salsa Verde is known by many and loved by a whole lot. I assure you that you will have a hit. It goes great with tacos, sopes, gorditas, enchiladas, etc. With almost everything. This is one of the many salsas that are needed to finish your already delicious dishes.
You will need:
- Tomatillos
- Onion
- Garlic cloves
- Chiles de Arbol or Serrano chiles
- Ground Cumin
- Knorr
- Cilantro
Just make sure you have the griddle ready because you will need to roast everything.
Once everything is nice and crispy you will put all this in a blender. Here you will add cilantro, cumin, knorr and some water.
Once you blend make sure you taste test. Here you will have the chance to check the seasoning on it. Add more knorr if salt is needed (you may add salt if you prefer). You will be able to add more chiles if it’s not spicy enough. If the salsa is to thick for your preference than you may add some water to the mix and blend some more. Just make sure you keep tasting for seasoning if you add water.
Set aside and let cool.
Nice recipe

Yesterday I did a similar recipe – Pork Chili Verde. Many of the same ingredients, with big chunks of pork that were slow-simmered in the Chili Verde Sauce for hours. I love working with Tomatillos – have a garden full. Great recipe – thanks!
